Needless to say, it was not a high-scoring round.
Sometimes collaborative efforts are effective. This comic for example. You just have to make sure you and your collaborator are on the same page. And, you know, using the same part of speech.
Floyd’s not offended by this comic, because it’s kind of real life. He’s not unintelligent. But when it’s words time I’ve been known to be tagged in. Similarly, when I’m too much up in my head (not an uncommon occurence) Floyd cuts through the bullsh in ways I can’t. It’s symbiotic.
Our good friend, Chrisbert, is seen in today’s strip. He recently achieved a task I’ve been working at for some time: getting Floyd into the Song of Ice and Fire series, or the Game of Thrones line as it is more colloquially called. You may have heard of Chris: he runs a “little” production called The Nonsense Society that is really quite brilliant. He’s been a great supporter of the comic. In fact you may be hearing even more from him soon. But that is a tale for another time…potentially Thursday. Anyway, I’m thrilled to have Floyd on board with them thrones. It was a unique delight to see someone go through the series when you already know most of the content. Some schadenfreude was involved surrounding one Eddard Stark.
Now if only we could get our tag-ins solid, we’d be on the same page in all kinds of respects.
