He has such great names in mind. Like Lefty and Righty.
Ultrasound actually does has an alarming number of uses. I discovered recently that it’s used as an equivalent of a heating pad, except for deep tissues like tedons.
Also, you know, for doing… stuff… to your junk… I guess.
Floyd did have a procedure done involving both ultrasound and the nether regions. None of us is certain as to its purpose, or specific diagnosis, but the medical minds gave him a rough “things are fine” kind of gist and said no more of it.
And we’re okay with that. I think it varies widely exactly how deep into our medical procedures we want to go. Sometime’s we just want someone in a lab coat say ” ‘s all good” and send us packing. I’m of the other school. I require grisly detail. I want to know all possible angles concerning what effects my corporeal vessel. I ask about what I should or should not be doing while under the effects of any substance I am given for medical purposes. I watch the needle when getting shots. I must know. I suppose that’s why I’m heading into medicine. I just want all that info in my back pocket, to dispense or withhold as people ask of me. There is a kind of intrigue in knowing, and hopefully therein understanding.
Though I’ll admit, where Floyd’s jumblies are concerned I’m okay with more than a little mystery.
