It seems that every given person has that one hot button issue that can provoke unparalleled ire. For some people it’s animal rights. Others might be concerned about gun laws (on either side of the issue). Floyd gets upset when someone confuses Dark Angels Space Marines with Blood Angels Space Marines. It’s best not to get me started on Hookshot vs. Boomerang.

For whatever reason we need a running start to even think about listening to the other side on some of these things. I think it’s a good thing to attempt. Sometimes you just need to take a deep breath and consider that maybe, somehow, that person who disagrees with you is not a mortal enemy. Especially when behind the wheel.
