I’m convinced that he mixes alchemical substances in what I’ve come to call “the Dwemer Drawmaton.” And that’s where comics come from.

I’m going to have to sit down and see Floyd’s process one of these days. Many popular artists have begun streaming their drawing sessions. What a bizarre and vibrant time for webcomics as a medium. Never has it been so easy to create, post, and share ideas about the artform. On one hand, how illuminating to have access to all of these resources. On the other, you can’t just be any schmo making a comic and get noticed: the roster is too deep for that. Faithful Reader, we hope that Unnatural 20 has delivered on your expectations for webcomic-itude. Tell your friends if it has. Heck, get on the twittertron and tell us if you have opinions or ideas. You’ll find our aliases conveniently located on this very page.

This is the first comic where we use “the grown-up poop word.” Floyd didn’t believe it either until I sent him to scour the archives. To be honest, I was and to some extent still am rather conflicted about it. Do expletives reduce our audience, make our comic less “family friendly” somehow? Do they open us up to another subset that’s looking for something more “edgy” or “mature?” I’m not sure. We’ll have to keep exploring it. We’d love feedback. The last thing we want our growing creative progeny to do is offend anyone.

Sorry, Mom.
