I’m not sure where I missed the boat, but for whatever reason I am time-management-deficient. It is a wonder that this comic hits the web on time. We probably have Floyd to thank for that.
I’ve been trying to get better about it recently. Crazy idea, but it seems managing time actually makes for more time. That said, some of my early attempts have been a bit heavy-handed. It’s the nature of the academic beast (at least in my program) that all of your time feels like it should be time spent studying, and my early scheduling attempts have been…well, uncompromising to that end. I guess it comes down to balancing those two opposing needs: the need to get things done, and the need to take breaks from doing.
I just won’t be spending my breaks playing “ball,” that’s for sure.
