No man, it looks…just like the usual.
This situation is not an uncommon one. I can’t even say how many grandiose costuming endeavors have fallen short and become…well, whatever I could pull together. Which is ludicrous, because I usually start planning in late July/early August. Perhaps I plan too ambitiously.
But this time, I did it. With the help of the webernets, I made my own arc reactor. At the wee hours of the morning, when I linked up the battery and those LEDs kicked in, it was a moment of beauty. Almost made me wish I had shrapnel slowly working its way toward my heart.
In other news, I am in the middle of a hurricane. This is not a metaphor. Her name is Sandy, and she is bearing down on us like the raging bitch she is. Thankfully, we have not, as of yet, lost power and the week has just kind of become a mini vacation. Do keep your fingers crossed for us that it remains that way.
Otherwise we might have to improvise. And you’ve seen how that goes.
