He asks me that during day-to-day life too. I’ve always wondered why.
Floyd as billed today’s work as “an excuse for me to draw one of my favorite scenes from A Game of Thrones.” There’s some weirdness for me there, because I’ve only read the books. This is not some high-horsin’ “gosh, the books are just so much better” post by any means. I just can’t wrap my head around it the same way. You know how after you’ve read a big ol’ book like that you remember the whole thing but sometimes it’s hard to sequence it? Is that a defect unique to me? Maybe I should be That Guy and blame things like televised books for shortening my memory span.
Just kidding.
I have heard that G.R.R Martin originally intended the series to be a television show, but that was before the books hit big (obviously) and they were like, “uhhh, Georgie? Kind of a lot to pack into a TV show. There are how many noble houses?!” It’s nice to think that he got to just take the long way around the barn to get to his dream.
Winter is coming. Sorry got stuck in the genre. I mean to say, Fall is here. Floyd and I are both tickled with the autumnal developments, chief among Floyd’s favorites being “pumpkin everything.” The seasonal changes are so familiar to me that I could never live someplace without them for very long. That stuff gets in your bones.
Uh oh. Gotta go wake Floyd up. He’s doing the “robot pincers” again.
